The 3D printing service commenced in 2014 in the Learning Garden. Over the past two years, the demand for 3D printing has increased significantly. The total weight of 3D models printed has increased from 3,482 grams in 2014/15 to 8,072 grams in 2015/16.
The Ditto Pro 3D printer is designed with an open C frame, which is made of a single piece of aluminum. This printer operates quietly with extremely low decibels to meet the learning environment in the Learning Garden. With these new 3D printers, more colour filaments will be offered including WHITE, GREEN, BLUE, ORANGE, RED and BLACK.
