The examinations will begin soon! Below are some tips to help you prepare.
1. Plan Your Study Time
Make your study schedule practical, flexible and realistic. Your Library provides over 4,000 seats for your quiet study during the daytime. The Library has also implemented the following special arrangements.
The Chung Chi Elizabeth Moore Library is open 24 hours. (Nov 27 – Dec 21)
Its Late Reading Room opens as follows:
Late Reading Rooms in New Asia College Ch’ien Mu Library and United College Wu Chung Multimedia Library are open 24 hours. (Nov 23 – Dec 22)
The Ground Floor of the UL New Extension is open 24 hours and designated as a silent study zone at night. (Nov 27 – Dec 21)
Make use of the 24-hour study facilities
University Library: The Learning Garden is open 24 hours, with more than 850 study seats available. The Ground Floor mentioned above and the Quiet Study Zone in the Learning Garden at night are designated for silent individual study.

CUHK Examination Papers Database – Search Tips
Go to the CUHK Library website and select “Exam Papers” tab. You can search past examination papers by Keywords, Course ID, Course name or Programme of Studies.
For example, for the course “Basic Microeconomics” (Course ID: ECON2011A), you can select Course ID and enter ECON2011. The search results include the past examination papers of ECON2011A, ECON2011B and ECON2011C, etc.

Seminar on Southeast Asian Scholarship Conducted in Hong Kong
The Chinese University of Hong Kong Library is delighted to organize the symposium themed as "Southeast Asian Scholarship Conducted in Hong Kong". The agency role of Southeast Asia in trans-Pacific communications is of growing importance. Scholars and librarians from the CUHK and outside are invited to share their expertise in Southeast Asian studies, to explore the development of this study field on campus and beyond, and what the Library can further support.
Scholars will talk about their teaching and research. Professional librarians will address their library resources and services to meet current research trends, challenges and emerging opportunities in Hong Kong. They encourage resource sharing and promote collaboration and partnership in the study of Southeast Asia.

Please note that tomorrow (12 July) is the last day that you can log in your existing library record. As your reading history will not be migrated to the new system, please kindly keep record of your library account by tomorrow if necessary:
- Export 'My Reading History' in 'My Library Record'. Click here to learn how (http://libguides.lib.cuhk.edu.hk/new-ils/save-reading-history).
- Make note of your saved searches. Previously saved searches cannot be migrated.
- Keep a record of your outstanding requested item(s). These requests will not be migrated to the new library system. If you still need these items after the system migration, please request for them again after the new LibrarySearch goes live.

Cambridge Core: Journals & Books Online
Cambridge Core is a new platform which combines Cambridge Books Online and Cambridge Journals Online. It offers full-text access to over 250 peer-reviewed academic journals as well as ebooks on various subjects published by the Cambridge University Press.

Top Tips for the Upcoming Exams
The final examinations will begin soon! Below are some tips to help you prepare.
1. Plan Your Study Time
Make your study schedule practical, flexible and realistic. Your Library provides over 4,000 seats for your quiet study during the daytime. The Library has also implemented the following special arrangements.
The opening hours of Chung Chi Elizabeth Moore Library is extended to 2 a.m. (Apr 18 - May 12)
Late Reading Rooms in New Asia College Ch’ien Mu Library and United College Wu Chung Multimedia Library are open 24 hours. (April 13 – May 13)
The Ground Floor of the UL New Extension is open 24 hours and designated as a silent study zone at night. (Apr 18 – May 12)
Make use of the 24-hour study facilities
University Library: The Learning Garden is open 24 hours, with more than 850 study seats available. The Ground Floor mentioned above and the Quiet Study Zone in the Learning Garden at night are designated for silent individual study.
Branch Libraries and WMY Learning Commons:
Architecture Library (open 24 hours for School of Architecture staff and students)
Li Ping Medical Library at Prince of Wales Hospital
Learning Commons at 6th Floor of Wu Ho Man Yuan (WMY) Building
Don't forget the Late Reading Room in Chung Chi Elizabeth Moore Library opens 9:30 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. (next day)
